MIDDLETON SOCCER CLUB LATE REGISTRATION POLICY

MSC will attempt to place every registered player on a team in our program. It is important, however, that we meet the needs of the players who registered in a timely manner. Those needs include registering players with IYSA, organizing teams, securing coaches, registering teams with the proper leagues, ordering uniforms and equipment, and developing game and practice schedules.

All late registrations paid in full with the required paperwork (including birth certificates) will be placed on a waiting list for possible placement on a team. Once we have addressed the needs of the timely registered players, we will attempt to secure placement of late registrants on an MSC team.

Placement can happen in several ways:
  1. If we have room on an existing team, then the player will be placed on that team. Players will be placed in the order that they are registered. It is important to note that we will not be overloading teams just to add a late registered player.
  2. If all of the teams are full and there are enough late registration players in a given age group, we will attempt to secure a new coach and add a new team to the schedule. This will generally require a parent coming forward to coach a newly created team.

At any time, a player may remove themselves from the waiting list with a full refund of their registration fees. Players will also receive a refund if we are unable to secure a placement for them with MSC. Please note that late uniform orders will likely incur additional late fees and, in some instances, may be slightly different and/or delayed.
