What does your player need to bring to tryouts?
Have your child dress comfortably in their soccer gear (they must wear shin guards). Have them bring plenty of water and a positive attitude.

What will parents need to do at tryouts?
Relax! Rest assured, the tryout process will be pain-free and stress-free. Simply sign your child up at the appropriate age bracket table (look for their birth year) and then give them a high five and head over to the parent area. We ask that parents refrain from stepping on the tryout fields.

What will the team roster sizes be like?
We are aiming to form low numbered rosters with pure aged teams, but will combine as needed due to numbers.

U9/U10: (2010 & 2009) 7v7 (9-10 players)
U11: (2008) 9v9 (11-12 players)
U12: (2007) 9v9 (11-12 players)
U13+: (2006 and older) 11v11 (13-14 players)

How will you know if your child made the team?
Within 24-48 hrs. after tryouts you will receive an email invitation inviting your child to play on the competitive team. To accept the invitation parents will need to register their child online through their child’s got soccer account by Friday, June 8th. Visit our website to view player fees.

Who will be your child's coach for 2018/2019?
The coaching committee will select qualified individuals to coach and set positive role models for our youth. Our goal is to create a positive, athlete-centered atmosphere that fosters player development. Most coaching assignments will be solidified before tryouts and others will be in place shortly after tryouts. Please visit our website to see those coaching assignments.

If your child played on a competitive team last year are they guaranteed a spot this year?
No. Each tryout season brings in new players to form a selective team from. Players will be evaluated against each other and the top ranked players will form the select competitive team.

What can players and families expect in the competitive league?
Games are played across the Treasure Valley within a league comprised of the top clubs in the valley. When players are exposed to more challenging game environments it encourages them to play at the higher levels of play. Parents will be expected to help their child keep their soccer commitments as best as they can for both the fall and spring seasons as it is a full year-long commitment. Fall season games run the end of August-mid Oct and the spring season runs beg of March-mid May. The fees for the ISL competitive league are higher than those at the Middleton rec level. As part of the IYSA (Idaho Youth Soccer Association) league each ISL competitive club in the valley pays a certain amount to this governing body to help provide liability coverage, ref's, Simplot Field usage, etc. Our  coaches are USSF/NSCAA licensed and are also reimbursed for their licensing and training. We feel it is a great investment!
